MITRE

COMPENDIUM has operated as a prime to this Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), and performed on many federal projects within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the US Air Force (USAF). We have supported multiple internal and external efforts to progress MITRE's capabilities in Business Transformation, Process Improvement & Enterprise Architecture (EA).

United States Air Force (USAF) Chief Information Officer (CIO), Enterprise Architecture (EA) Division

COMPENDIUM has been acting as an honest broker in providing the strategy, process improvement, human factors, and EA capabilities required to support business transformation and modernization goals for the USAF Office of the CIO. We have led and supported multiple high-visibility engagements, all of which involve a high degree of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and actionable results - realized through the delivery and analysis of EA products.

United States Air Force (USAF) Deputy Change Management Officer (DCMO)

COMPENDIUM has been acting as an unbiased advisor to support business transformation and modernization goals for the USAF Office of the DCMO. COMPENDIUM has assisted in the development of the AF Business Enterprise Architecture (AF BEA) and we have provided guidance in the areas or BPR Assertion, process improvement, EA and performance measures. We have also performed BPR Assertion Reviews in support of NDAA 2010 requirements for all programs over $1M.

United States Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century (AFSO21) Office

COMPENDIUM has been acting as an honest broker in providing process improvement, human factors, and enterprise architecture capabilities required to support the AFSO21 office. COMPENDIUM led efforts to support integration of EA concepts and use into AFSO21 office. We also supported the transition and integration of AFSO21 into the DCMO office. We have performed outreach activities, led efforts to develop strategic communications to educate functional community and MAJCOMs on DCMO mission, NDAA 2010, BPR, EA and AFBEA concepts and use.

United States Air Force (USAF) Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

COMENDIUM has led and supported efforts to identify opportunities to exploit Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). We have also supported efforts to integrate EA disciple within Communities of Interest (CoI) and Vocabulary / Ontology Development.

Department of Defense (DoD)

COMPENDIUM has delivered real and pragmatic advice, based on our results in Federal and Industry environments, to evolve DoD guidance in areas of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) review and use of EA. We have coordinated contributions and authorship from over 25 of MITRE's most senior architects to the DoDAF 2.0. Our Consultants are senior members and facilitators on MITRE Architecture Advisory Group (AAG), a compendium of MITRE's most senior architects organized to provide advice and direction in regard to DoD's use of EA to support transformation.
